How to pull out car from a frozen lake. Russian style

Russians usually are creative with that stuff

Would have been cooler if they drove it away

yeah....dont think that would have happend. Motor was probably full of water and would have hydrostatic locked if they tried turning it over, resulting in busted connecting rods..etc.
But....drain and replace the oil. Pull the sparkplugs and crank it over and watch the water fly out of the cylinders. Then put the plugs back in and it would probably fire right up....unless the ECM and other things got damaged.

Pretty neat how they got it out.....maybe the Russians know how the pyramids were built. LOL

That was pretty impressive! If I'm ever in Russia and my truck falls through the ice I now know how to get it out lol

Very clever, those Russians! :headbang:

I will have to remember this the next time the wife wants me to get something from the freezer.

Also, I would be worried about getting pulled backwards with the low friction on the ice. I wonder if they have studded soles or something.
