How to get out of the driveway before Monday

Can't post. No "new Post" button. No avatar pictures. No quote buttons. Been almost a week and can't figure it out.

Well... I live just north of you and got about 14-15 inches of snow... I'd listen to what they'd have to say about your problem but I'm just gonna say that momentum is great in two wheel drive. I didn't think the snow storm went that far south of us though... thats pretty sucky I guess. were supposed to get more this weekend too:( Not enjoying it that much even though I love snow.

Most of the people who join have a single problem and don't feel like searching for the answer...they want it RIGHT NOW. I understand this..your panicking, you want answers fast. However, most of these issues, this one for sure, has been beat to death at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Once you've been here for a few years answering the same questions over and over, it wears on you a little bit.

With that said, never be afraid to ask a question, but always remember you may not always like all the responses you receive.

Welcome to my world....

And on the electric shift T-case actually diagnosing the problem?
Very few people have the patience with that silly abortion to bother actually working on it to find out.

those that DO have that level of patience
haven't spoken up yet.

the rest of us have little tolerance for factory bullshit and so either got a truck with a metal lever actuaed T-case or got pissed-off and swapped a metal lever T-case into our trucks.

Years ago I had a bronco2 with an electric T-case.

It worked ONCE.

The second time I tried to use it it failed.

The NEXT weekend that E-shift T-case was at the bottom
of a very large pile of scrap metal.

Do I really need to tell you that I'm not one of the people known
for having a tolerance for shit that doesn't work?

Reliability is things that work "EVERY time", not "most of the time"
and certainly not "some of the time"

I consider 4x4 a survival tool survival tools need to be as reliable as an Estwing hammer (These are forged in ONE PIECE)

as for my patience level? I am among other things a winemaker
I spend MONTHS working on making a beverage that I won't actually get to taste or drink for YEARS

So I regard anyone with the patience to deal with the e-shift t-case when it quits to be clinically insane.

ok, glad it's not just me that shares that feeling on the stupid E case... I just need the shifter boot setup and my explorer will get it's manual case in when I get the time... but right now it has 3.55's up front and 3.73's in the back so it's not worth the effort until I swap pumpkins...
