i have a 1995 ext. cab ranger with a 4.0 ohv and got pulled backwards by a ranger with the efi. i know this prolly isnt the right thread! but i wanna go back for a re-match asap i wanna know what i can get that is cheap that will give my ranger more power to win! any options?! losing sucks

first off, hooking together and pulling to see who can pull who-- is stupid, really bad on a truck, transmission and all..

second off, this section of trs is for urgent help fast- meaning you have something broke down that needs fixed and you need help

third, your ranger 4.0 ohv is still efi also... you have elec fuel injection right?

forth, you probably need more gear and better tires for traction more than anything for that. did your tires just spin? or you could learn how to drive and get the power to the ground better...

sorry to sound like a jerk- if you were just hooking bumpers together to see who "had a bigger penis" then i'm not actually sorry. if you had a good reason of doing it- then i'm truly sorry and you probably need better gearing and better traction.

look- the thing is i just don't like when people just go out and bash their trucks.. but its your truck so.. by all means!

Quoted for truth and brilliance!

Easy!

Simply fill the bed of the truck with dirt or rocks or anything heavy to put more weight on the rear tires. That'll do it for ya!
Then when you have won and are replacing the tranny and rear gears... Think of ME!
Big JIm:hottubfun::wub:

Could always mount a winch up frint and hook to something. I bet a good hydraulic 20,000 lbs winch could help ya win!

all you need to do is some simple math

according to K&N, a K&N air filter = a 15 hp gain

install 10 k&N air filters and BAM, 150hp.....go rip that guy a new one

I like this math.

i need to go buy stock in K&N b4 this math gets out, they'll make millions :icon_rofl:

While he isn't looking, pour bleach on his rear tires. Continue at your leisure and then memorize everything 4.0B2 said.

or your could take it to your closest tire shop tell them you want a really rugged tire for more traction, have em install them for ya then cover your tires with dish soap for a better look! they will shine nice and purrtty and then it wont stink as bad when you cant go anywhere! bahahaha!.

just face it dude. build your truck, then when it blows up. build it again. then repeat steps 2 &3 for the rest of your days until you are satisfied that this isnt the way to prove who has the truck with the most power
