Hello,
I just bought a 1999 Ford Ranger 4x4 with the 4.0L engine. I want to determine if the engine is the original one. I have searched all over for the VIN on the block and cannot find it. I was wondering is someone could help me out with the VIN location on the block or tell me a different way of figuring out if the engine is original?
