This is supposed to be a 3.5" lift, and the guy(at 4wheelparts) said it would probably only end up being 3". He also said I could probably get away with this much lift without doing any other work(less alignment of course). Well, I definetaly need new brake lines, but upon inspection, I need those regardless of a lift or not. But I don't know how much this will settle, and the truck lifted up almost 6" just sitting there.

So, is this doable? Or should I return them for the next size down?

And this is how the truck sat when I got it:

You have to remember that the truck wasn't sitting at stock height when you started. It had settled already so your not measuring from zero. It will settle some. Just go with it, you'll like it.

You think I'll be ok with the other stock components? Only replacing the springs, struts, and brake lines? The rear already has an add-a-leaf that is supposed to be a 2" lift, and yielded a 4" lift for this truck when I did it.

the truck will settle, just give it a bit of time,

You're not doing drop brackets? How did you plan on aligning that?

wait.....hes not using drop brackets???? u will NEVER be able to align that, take it back to 4wheelparts and tell the dude hes a moron, anytime u got bigger then 2" on a ranger u need drop brackets...period, no exceptions......short of custom beams.....

Ah, ok. I have no intention of going to drop brackets, as I don't want to do that much work to this. I'll take back the springs and get the 2" ones.

Yea deffinatly get the LEVELING coils, not lift coils, or you will have a nightmare of an alignment without drop brackets.
