How long do clutches last in rangers

Roughly how long do clutches have to be replaced in rangers? i have the 2.3 5 Speed...nothing is wrong with mine..i was just wondering.

It all depends man, too many variables to give a solid number of miles. My last manual ranger had 245,000 miles on it and 2 clutches but Ive seen others burn them out in 30K.

^^^ what he said, way too many variable to hazard a guess. I made 200,xxx km's on my stock clutch and it was still good until I toasted it in a mudhole...

Im not hard on the truck..i drive it pretty easily...and its only 5 digit...but i think it has 128,000 possibly...it would be nice if it wasnt the original clutch.. I've been driving it for a year and a half...How much does a clutch job run on a ranger usually? its 2wd..and i usually do all my own work on my cars..but that seems kinda difficult.

Hum, my truck has now 214 000 km, and still on stock clutch, and has took A LOT LOT of abuse in the past 5 years I own it (100 000km) actually. Huge burnouts, clutch kicks for drifting, 6k rpm clutch drop , etc etc. It has be abused hard. And it still does great, I actually can't believe how it's strong lol. I wouldn't worry about this if you drive it pretty easily... lol

The major factor it the person behind the wheel. Do ride the clutch at lights or drive with your foot on the clutch pedal. If you let the clutch out in a smooth motion all the way and put your foot on the floor between gears it will last alot longer the same with downshifts.
