How hard is it to work at McDonalds??

Wow you guys have the good ketchup. And you have real mayo packets, here, we have light mayo packets and no suck thing as McChicken sauce.

Im told that no matter where you go, by my boss that is, if you want something as simple as a McChicken, it will be the same no matter where you go in the world due to mcDonalds doesnt want there to be a difference. Guess he was wrong.

Im waiting for the McRib to come out. Monopoly came out on the 27th of this month too, but "we arent allowed to play it".

the mcrib is back? that is one that's pretty good... it's not the best thing in the world, but i do enjoy it, it's a nice change... plus it adds another meat for my multi meat combo burger...

mcdonalds needs turkey or something... bacon and pork is the same, but kinda different, so it kinda counts, no one would dispute beef, chicken, pork and turkey in one sammich as a ****ed up meal...

No McRib isnt back just yet but soon will be.

Our ketchup is the the McDonlads brand stuff, not heinz, which is so much better.

All I want to say is working McDonalds isnt as easy at it appears to be. Theres alot more to making your sandwhich then what everybody sees. There are specail gloves for handling the frozen raw meat, special spatuals for the different meats, etc....its not just about what goes on them, and there is an order of how thats done too.

I do alot of shit to my sandwhiches that normal people cant do and also the big thing at my work is the put the Angus seasonsing on our fries and damn is that good.

My 16 year old daughter irritates me sometimes. She doesn't want to do anything for her. It's her moms fault. When she's with me I make her do things for herself.

I thought of this thread tonight because she called me and asked if I would keep an eye online for Justin Beiber to do a concert in the US, but she's online all the time.

She struggles with homework because she can't find the answers. I look in her book and can find them. She never reads the chapters. When I was in scholl we read the chapters outloud in class. You better know where the person reading left off if the teacher calls you to read next. I asked both of my kids and they told me they don't read the chapters.

I think there was a movie out where people became so damn stupid because computers were doing everything for them. You really have to wonder what future generations will be like.

We have to have the worst McDonalds here in Salem, Lisbon, and Columbiana Ohio. I've been to each and have experienced a problem where the kid putting the Big Macs together has no clue what he's doing. I had the hamber patties laying on top of each other with the middle bun and top bun together with nothing in between it.

My first job was at a Mc Donalds back in the 80's. You actually flipped burgers back then. It didn't seem that hard.

I complained to the manager before and showed him the sandwiche. He asked the kid to make a new one and never even told him he screwed up.

McDonalds has been going down the toilet for years. I think their breakfast is the only thing keeping them afloat.

What kind of future do you have when you can't even figure out how to put a Big Mac together???

Dude! that is every fast food joint around me after 10 pm and everyday! I have complained to everyone including district managers. I have had them tell me they are closed when it clearly says 24hr drive thru! WTF? Anyways I agree with weezl I have been in the restaurant industry for 10 years on and off (believe me I'm getting out real soon!) currently I work 2 part time jobs with work on the side repairing computers and electronics while going to school full time. Anyways one of my jobs is in a chain restaurant not fast food, and sorry if someone walks in 2 minutes till closing they hold up the whole crew for at least an hour, but too bad that's the job. The scene in waiting where there are watching the clock is spot on! Also don't eat at apple-bees/chilis or whatever cheapo chain bar and grill is in your town, i can attest to all the gross scenes in that movie are true, and worse actually anyways yea kids now a days suck for working, but even hard workers get the shaft, most of the time it comes down to who sucks up the most, gets along the most with management, or just knows somebody. Sucks but it is the truth. I can repair most anything lol but Bestbuy/radioshack/ etc will not hire me even though I'm clearly qualified. Rant over
