How capable a 2WD becomes with a diff locker?

2WD dont get sway bars, yours has it cuz its a 4WD.
the front sway bar links.. i assume the 4WD ones are larger, can i fit em on mine for extended travel??

Coil front end? I don't know man.

you dont want sways at all if you are comfortable without them. traction bars can limit travel so careful considerations need to be looked at for them....when you keep from lifting a tire there is that much more traction.

imo a locker is worth it on any truck out back...a cheap drop in for a 7.5 will likely work just fine. i prefer selectable lockers but they cost big bux too.

dont get me wrong, 2wd is very cabable in dryer conditions....plenty of fun to be had. ime it always appears a 2wd goes farther then my 4x4 in 2wd...i am sure weight bias and suspensionsetup have something to do with that.

so can i fit the 4x4 front sway bar links to mine?? i guess theyre longer, and would this help anything at all?

Swaybars are going to limit suspension travel by an inch or two, depending on the vehicle and suspension setup. They won't help offroad, if anything try taking them off and see how it is offroad. They will drive significantly differently onroad though.

so a rear sway bar isnt a good add on for improving off road traction??

no it limits axle articulation.

i wouldnt bother with em.

a good locker, longer shackles, and some long travel shocks will be all ya need.

and well... the locker of coarse.

ohh shit and now what i do with the sway bar i have lol!!
for the shackels i dont know if i could fabb them , longer shocks is easy.

ohh thanks for the advice!!
well, im gonna install it to improve on road stability a bit
ima save some good cash and get me a 4x4:thefinger:

actually still debating lol, i might get the 8.8 explorer axle and then the locker :D
anyway i have plenty time to think untill i get the real money
