Ok my horn on my 83 Ranger xlt has gone bad. And with my luck i nearly got T boned by some dumb bitch crossing every lane on the highway without looking..and i went to honk at this stupid person and of course it didnt work. SO my question is where do i start looking? Could it be as easy as a fuse? or is this a big deal? Help please

Check the fuse, check for power at the horn leads (someone helping to push the horn button), in that order. If there is power at the leads, check each lead to ground across the horn(one lead should have power, other should have continuity. This may blow the fuse.). If both are good, replace the horn.
