The two Red wires on Brown relay probably go to the same contact of that relay, the power OUT of the relay
Doubtful.
The diagram show a single red/green coming from the ignition switch and a single solid red going to the fuel pump relay, WOT, and several other places. The EVTM calls out splice 125 as the split for the solid red wire, and the location charts put S125 near the MAP sensor take-off.
I also went out and actually inspected the 2.9 harness I tore out of my 88, it only has a single wire on each of those pins. It also has 86 part number. It has been my experience though that the tracers can fade off of these wires and leave just the primary color showing. It makes a mess of trying to figure out which wire goes where in a situation like this, without cutting down into the harness wrap to find a section that hasn't been exposed to the elements.
