Most vehicle mpg peaks around 55-60 mph. That was the main driver for the 55 mph maximum speed limit in the ‘70s.

Yea seems brand new vehicles tend to be getting better at higher speeds though, my mom's 2020 edge seems to get the best MPG cruising at 70mph+ but it also has 4 more gears than the ranger...

And more things to let it slip though the air better instead of pushing through it. 65-70 mph speeds are here to stay. Of course, that also means more aerodynamic stuff to work around when you work on it.

Ducks get stuck in the chicken run while I'm gone. Only thing that can roam free if I'm not home is the weird polish roosters that I always hope will just wander off while I'm gone but never do... :rolleyes:
