Hello folks.... just installed my hids today. I bought my kit from www.ddmtuning.com. They have really great kits for a pretty decent price. Lifetime warranty on all hid kits. Cant beat that.

The kit before I installed it.

I went with 12000k, I was a little disappointed I thought there would be a little more purple than there is but oh well. Maybe I'll go with some 30000k bulbs sometime.

Looks good!

I'm hoping to get some new lenses and do that upgrade myself within the next few months. Are there instructions with the kit?

Yeah, they are really easy to follow. The whole installation took less than a half hour. Basically just plug and play.

That'll light up the road!!! I'll have to look at a set for mine in the future.

i just got my kit from ddm and just got done installing them i ordered the 35watt kit with 5000k bulbs i will take some pics tonight.

unless you put those into projector pods I hope you get a really big ticket for running a 100watt bulb in a street application. the only thing more annoying than a prick that doesn't know how to turn his high beams off is the guy that knowingly runs the wrong bulb in the wrong lens.

I'm with him ^^^ really bright gets too bright quick when their in your
rearview...

makes you think what your rear bumper might do to those,

you cover the brake with your left foot just waiting

and waiting, waiting, till you get heated and lay on 'em.

Then it'll be payday from your insurance company.

You can find your mazda emblem a quarter mile back up the road.

Cops don't like them either.

they don't make projector headlights for my truck and i'm not going to wait for a company to make them.

then either don't run them or do it yourself....... I know 2 completely amazing concepts. either way you are showing a complete lack of respect for people you share the road with.

if you had done some homework you would have found instructions for installing HID projector pods into your head light housing or just could not run them. I hope you never run those riced out faggy lights near me because I will kick them out or take my Louisville slugger to them.

:icon_rofl: you would not get within 100ft of my truck

I have spent 11 almost 12 years driving over the road big rigs, I have logged over 1.5 million miles most of which at night. my 3 pet pieves in no particular order are

Idiots that don't know how to drive a consistent speed
idiots that don't know how to turn their high beams off
idiots the run the wrong bulb in the wrong housing

think I am kidding. bring your truck up here and shine those lights at me while I am driving. Think my Bronco or my Minivan couldn't out run a 3.0 ranger? Think the local cops will do anything? they hate HID lights more than they hate truckers.

first of all why would i want to drive up to what ever sh%t hole you live in?
second if i was to ever be near said sh%t hole i won't be the one running.
third don't come into someone else's thread running your d#$klicker threating me it's my truck i will install anything i want and i don't give a F#$k what your pet pieves are drive during the day then.

They look alright in pictures and at a stand still like at shows or somthing, but coming head on with a set of those light annoys the hell out of me, and having them in the rear view too. Guess it's an excuse to lift the truck :icon_twisted:

The next best thing to do to people that have those bright ass lights is to have an extreme drop chrome bumper. Used to have one on my F-150 nobody tailgated very close without blinding the piss out of themselves.
