Hi to all, my first ranger.

Welcome to TRS.

Welcome, I'm sure you can find some help here with your issues from the swap.

Yeah man, welcome to TRS, great bunch of folks here, I'm sure you'll find it worth your while

Welcome. I'm new too and these guys are great in here. Tons of knowledge and good humor, always interesting projects. Someone always chimes in with a very specific understanding of what's being discussed.

I used to have a Jeep and as such, Jeep forums. Let me just say this- Ranger people are much much more humble than Jeep people (generally speaking)

Probly because ours get better mileage :)

I'm actually very impressed with how far fuel will get me in this Bronco II. It's at least 30% better than my YJ was. Probably more. I definitely enjoyed the Jeep but I was offered a lot of money for it and took it. My only regret was not taking my Warn Evo 8 winch off before listing it. But I'm looking at the Evo 10 now. Warn has a $100 rebate on new winches till the end of August I think as well.

I had a work buddy in Tennessee that had a Jeep CJ 2 or 3 or 5 or so?
This was like 1990 or so
I stopped by there one day and he was ranting about someone stole his starter
I listened to it for a while and then said, look man, there isn't another Jeep anywhere in sight, who would want your starter!?

After I asked him where he'd been driving it last, it was a trail ride somewhere not far, so I took him out there and he took off down the roads he had been on.
Sure enough, in a half hour or so he came out of there with the starter on his shoulder

i am a previous yj guy also. my wife had a 91 sahara and i had an 87 laredo (originally had a 4.5 stroker but i swapped it to a 302 from a bronco).

we still have a tj. my son loves it, or i would have gotten rid of it already. its a rhd and while that sounds cool, in real life its a pain in the butt the more you drive it.

This is the place for knowledge! Welcome
