Hi all from WI.

I just picked up a high miles 2000 ranger 4wd with the 4.0 ohv for my teenage son to drive. It's a bit of a project - so far I have a coolant leak, oil leak, broken rear shock mount and probably more when I look around more. One thing at a time I guess. Hope to find some answers here!

I am pretty new myself, stubborn1. I bought a 2000 4.0 ohv ranger for my son. I PUPROSELY bought a 4x4 to handle the Omaha snow. He had it four months and slid on ice, landing sideways into a telephone pole in Jan 2022. The truck was a gem. I got lucky n got one with no leaks. Best of luck to you; hope your son has more respect for his truck than my son did...
