That's odd the guy at my parts store told me that quite a few guy's have had the same problem, That's why he told me to check it before buying anything else. :icon_thumby:

^ Nevermind, just realized there isn't one on my year.

you should have this sensor and it should be located in the air intake between the maf sensor and the air filter....

* the sensor is also know as an "air charge sensor"....go to rockauto.com it is part of the emission system

It you dont have a separate sensor, its built into your MAF. There will be six wires connecting to the MAF instead of four.

Replacing a part by guessing is rediculous. If you vehicle is OBDII (95+ on rangers) all you have to do it hook up a high end code scanner that has the ability to display parameters in real-time and watch to see where your problem is. OBD I is alittle bit trickier, but is possible too.

That is enough. Everybody.

Now cut the crap and carry on.

I just deleted 31 posts of pure bickering crap out of this thread. Knock it off!

Thank You Jim
This and all threads should stay on topic it's about our Rangers, not the people who own them. I am new to this site but personal attacks and snide comments s have no place on a site dedicated to Rangers and solving the problems that we as owners have with them.
