I want to v8 convert my 98 ranger, and I already have a 79 302 and gt40 heads, and I will start building that here soon, my c4 is at the rebuilder getting it ready with new clutches, and some mods to get a firmer shift and stall converter. (not an aftermarket shift kit)If I can figure out all the parts I need, Ill ditch the 3.0. I know I will need the plates for the engine mounts, I found some 85 5.0 mustang factory headers but not sure if they will fit, or does someone know what does better, I started buying the parts off of a v8 explorer, but I really dont want all that c_rap on my engine, I want to go either aftermarket serpentine or v_belt. Im not going to run fuel injection, the computer, or most of the unnecessary wiring since it doesnt have to pass emissions here. just old school fun.. All I need is wipers, heater, etc,, has anyone done similiar, and what did you use/
