I'm planing a frame-off restoration on my '94 supercab and could use some guidance. Has anyone seen any how-to pieces or threads here or anywhere else? I've done some searching but came up with very little.

Also, any idea of the weight of a stripped cab? I'm talking everything removed but the glass, dash & wiring.

Thanks
Pat

i did a complete frame off restoration on a 79 f350 and the standard cab on that compleely stripped was maybe 200 pounds. 2 guys could move it pretty easy

That's a great help! I'm planing on making a dolly to put cab on so I can roll it around to work on it, I have some 5" casters that are way overkill but will make it easier to roll over dirt & stuff.

Ranger cabs are more than 200... My son and I are pretty big dudes and we still needed a third guy to lift it SAFELY. When I switched cabs, I had a dolly for moving the cab around the garage. Made the dolly from a pallet and 5" casters...
