Does anyone know where to find a good diagram of the 2.3 engine or have the section of the manual for putting it back together. It’s a 2.3 4cyl out of a 2009

The engine itself isn’t taken apart but everything is unplugged from it because I had to replace the entire wire harnes. But I also would like to see where all the vacuum lines, water lines, etc. are suppose to go

Haynes and Chilton manuals might provide some answers here or online searches for various schematics related to that engine. I am not real familiar with the newer 4 cylinder motor. My personal favorite when tinkering with such things is the “move stuff around until it fits and don’t force anything if it doesn’t want to. It should be pretty obvious, at least on older ford motors which vac and water lines go where. Typically the electrical fittings only work on one location/connection.

I find that to be even more true on the newer vehicles. There may be more wiring, but there’s less of a chance of running it the wrong way. The leads off the main harness tend to only reach certain things if you run it correctly.

I definitely agree. You may be able to get set right by simply googling some engine compartment images to get a rough idea of the wiring harness route.
