Hi I'm Mike, i need some help with my truck, i need to know where all the hoses are located and run. My heater core was by passed i believe, and I'm not sure how they done that part. Could anyone please help me with this?

One goes from your thermostat housing to the heater core on the firewall. The other goes from water pump to fire wall... Also it helps when you tell what year, which engine and all for next time

Also unless you've replaced the heater core there is no reason to re route the hoses as it was probably leaking

Welcome to the site.

The heater core was cut off at both hoses and re routed for some reason I don't think it works I don't care if it works the only thing I need to know is where all the hoses are supposed to go someone took it apart and did not put it back together I have a 1986 Ford Ranger 2.3 (fuel injection) thank you so much im not even sure why they had it that way but if I just had the original diagram that would be awesome

Don't have a diagram but I have a truck... Like I said one at therm. housing, one at water pump, to the fire wall... Some have a t on the pump hose that go around back of head to oil cooler I think

As rusty as the hose clamps are on the heater, you just may want to replace all the hoses and get new clamps.

You can't tell but my heater core is plugged internally instead of looped..it's bad aswell as the heater box being melted... I was just showing the newbie where the hoses were... When my turbo engine is finished I'm replacing the heater box and hoses and clamps etc...

I'm so sorry I wasn't very clear about what I was asking the heater core has been cut off I'm not even worried about that I know where the hoses go for the water pump and part of the air intake were the throttle body is but problem is my vacuum lines and all the other hoses in the truck have been disconnected and I have been set up with the task of putting it all back together. so is there any way possible maybe you could just send me like a good picture of the whole truck engine so I can figure out where all the lines go there is a diagram on my truck that shows the vacuum lines but it's a little hard for me to tell what goes to what what goes to the EGR what goes to the throttle body etc please help thank you for replying back

I've had this truck for several months I've had to change the timing nearly six or seven times, put a rebuilt cylinder head and a new camshaft. I've replaced all new gaskets on everything it's been a little bit of a task but I'm not giving up I will get this truck to run like it's supposed to but not without help without you guys thank you so much you guys are so great and awesome good work

Okay sorry guys, i think i have everything put back like it belongs, but when I try to crank it now, it turns over but wont start. The engine sounds like it is to weak to crank, the battery is fine so I'm not sure if i have an unplugged sensor or if my firing order is off. Thanks for welcoming me to the site, and thank you so much for replying back!!
