New here i just got my truck on the road its a 96 4x4 thats lifted i dont how much or what brand the kit is all i kno is that i have duff radius arms i am having serious negative camber issues an i cant figure out how to corect it i dont know if i have the right coils because the front of the truck is nosediving real bad and it looks as if the beams are bowing down like its a lowered truck i have a pic of the front end but cant figure out how to put it up hopefully someone would be able to help me out with my problem
 
if the beams are "up" like the susp. is being compressed at ride height, and you have not backed up the truck, sounds like your springs are to short or worn out....

the pin on the inner spindle nut IF broken or worn off can allow the bearings and outer spindle nut to loosen causing, in some cases, serious camber issues. worn out springs can cause similar issues but i have had many more issues with spindle nuts than springs.

here you go, myself I cant really tell much from these pics...could just be my eyes tonight, but if you can get some pics from further back so we can see the truck and how the tires are sitting better it might help.

was your truck backed in to the postion? cause if your toe is set to far in it will make the truck sink down and make the tires look funny like your describe......

for now jack up your truck and check your wheel bearing,like 86ford said make sure they are not sloppy lose, or lose at all for the matter.

to check your wheel bearing jack up a tire and grab the wheel at 12 and 6 o-clock and push in pull out at the time time, and see if you have play.


look like you have 6 inch lift brackets, how long are the springs in the truck now with the weight on the truck....meassure form the bottom of the spring to the top of the spring...
 
Those springs are pretty short in comparison to the drop brackets. I would say that your camber bushings are close, if not already, to the limit of their adjustment on negative camber, which is why you still might have some negative camber because there wasn’t enough adjustment to dial them to spec. Since your nose-diving, I assume you'd like to gain a few more inches....there are a few things you can do.

1) Coil Spacers (I recommend the welded washer approach as the polyurethane ones tend to deteriorate over time, and the washers give you much more fine tuning of the ride height) or..
2) Skyjacker 6" coils

Either ones of these will level out your truck more and allow you to align it. Here is a picture (courtesy of 4x4junkie or someone else on here) that shows the angle that your axle beams should sit at (blue line).

This truck's axle beams are completely level, whereas the bolt for the axle beam in the drop bracket is at the center line of the wheel (imaginarily going through the hubs) at no angle. Once you look at this and compare it to yours, you will understand as you have a negative angle.
 
i had an 81 F150 that had bad pivot bushings on the pig and beam that gave me negative issues too, that might not and probably isn't your case but thought i'd throw it in anyway
 
I checked my wheel bearings today and there tight. i also to a mesurement of the spring compressed in the truck an its about 18.5 to 19 inches i took a few pics so they should be up soon

do you have two diffrent springs in your truck now? both black in the pics above, and one green and one black one now......

The green side(passenger) dont look bad,driver side looks like your spring is short and yoru toe is out.

19 inch springs, with the truck on them? did you meassure from the bottom the of the spring to the top of the spring in the coil bucket?

cause my 6 inch skyjacker springs are 19inches free lenth and 16.25 with the truck on them and my truck is only a reg cab.....

meassure your bracket like this....

Ball Joints. My 94 Explorer is doing the same thing. Bigger tires put a pretty good strain on them. The 91 Explorer D35 I have in my Ranger had to be replaced as well.....
 
yes there are 2 different springs in my truck now it came with the green set but one is all bent up i put the good one in the truck to see it it would make a differance from the bottom of the frame to the center of the pivot bolt is 14.5 inches and yes the springs with the trucks weight on them are about 19 inches with no weight on there there about 21.5 inches
 
I'm thinking those brackets are 8" lift ones, they look awfully long.

Something isn't adding up with your coil measurement though, if they were indeed 19" long, that axle would be dead level and perfect camber with 0° bushings installed.

Edit:

I just checked the brackets on mine, and it's 12.5" (maybe a tiny bit under) to the 6" lift axle hole.

I would swap those brackets for 6" ones (you may even be able to just drill new holes 2" above the existing ones, then trim off the excess bracket). This will improve your steering linkage geometry with the suspension, as it's way off in it's current configuration (looks like it already has the larger pitman arm on it too). Then get some 6" lift coils for it.
Your caster angle will be much improved too, the Duff arms were never made for that much lift.

I found instructions for skyjackers 8 inch lift and in the one pic you can see the one drop braket is the same as mine do you think if i get a set of there 8 inch coils this will correct my problem?
 
It'll help fix the camber, but the steering will still be all jacked. Nothing you can do about it without major fabrication. Your caster will probably be all negative as well.

8" is simply too much lift for these things.
 
if you get the 8'' lift coils it is gunna be a #itch on your steering. go with the 6'' lift coils with washer coil spacers.
 
I have either a six or eight inch spring an i still have to come up a good 3 to 4 inches in the front to level the truck out if i still stay with the 8 inches of lift on my truck dosent superlift offer a steering kit or will this not work with this much lift
