my truck has been doing this thing latley were it starts just fine then when i drive it it will drive for about a mile or two then it will just all the sudden die. sometimes if i wait a min or two it will restart sometimes it take 10 min to start sometimes it wont start for 3 or 4 hours. it dosent do it constently just every now and then i cant seem to figure it out i put new plugs in it thinking it was the spark and then it still did it so i put a air intake thinking it might be the air. but it still does it do you guys think it could be something with the fuel?

You are going to have to isolate between fuel & ignition. As soon as it dies try hitting with starting fluid and see if it fires, if so look at the fuel side, if not Ignition side. Greg

A lot of thing could do this. I've run throught this problem very often on differnet car/brand/model, most of the time it was ignition coil,cam/crank sensor. But don't trow part away..... it's very easy to diagnose a no start. Find the deffective part and replace it.

If this is more problematic after it is up to temp...then...restarts after it cools down, would check the TFI (AKA the ignition module).
