Help Me Before I Set My Truck On Fire!!!

The rear end differential just went out.
I thought it was the drive shaft because it started clunking but it was the differential i pulled the cover of it and the some of the teeth were broken and gone. Thank god i have a spare truck for parts!!

I'm about to have to pull two differentials im just on this site procrastinating. I love ford but this ranger is beginning to be expensive and extensive in work.

quit bein lazy, its not hard to switch them out, u think a ranger is work intensive u obviously have enver ahd to work on imports LOL

It is hard when you have never done it before, you work 2 jobs and your trying to move out of state so **** you!!!

FYI I said extensive not intensive.

I have now replaced the engine, transmission, drive shaft, Not the transfer case but did have to pull it out and put it back in, rear end, battery(twice), 85% of the wiring in the truck,Dash, and some new seats. I wouldn't mind all of this if I didn't have to move in less than a week and a half(Out of state). It has been a great learning experience.
