Got this at an auction for like $3.30... figured I could use it or flip it. Initially thought it was square body Chevy with the bare aluminum color but don't think so with the round bottom corners that and my Chevy friend said it didn't look right and was likely Ford :). So at that point I put it up to my F350's rear window which would be close with a plain glass window seal unlike the slider that's in it now that protrudes out the back a bit. I just now realized the picture kinda sucks, it has a 1/8" rim all the way around like would go in the seal like glass...

So, thoughts?

If I get a wild hair Wednesday evening I'll go into the garage and see if I have the window seal off of the solid window I think the F350 had when I got it, pretty sure I stuffed it in the rafters "just in case" to see if it fits, if it does I guess that's the answer... I've been kinda hoping to have a spare since in the last 11 years I've broken 2... similar to the '90 Ranger, two in 13 years for it (had it for over 24)

Ford used the metal trim back in the 73-79 (possibly up into the 80's) years and IIRC the windows are all the same from like 73-96.

Id bet on it being a ford....i dont think its GM. I dont know what a dodge one looks like but the older pre 93 dodges IIRC were more ovalish shaped

Back in the day I read the Ford full size rear window was the same from '80 through '96/7, the one bump side that I see on my way to work every now and then has a headache rack so hard to tell...

I found a few other listings stateing 73-96/7 ran the same rear window as well.

A bump would be different...i think they are smaller IIRC

Heres the only bump (67-72) example i could find

I meant dent side, whatever, been a day :)

Interesting, must have just been that the basic cab was the same from '80-96/7 on what I saw before, interesting, all good stuff... assuming I have a seal that will fit :)

Yeah the basic cab definantly stayed the same from 80-96/7. I remember guys on a fullsize board i was on swapping dashes between the 3 generations and it was about bolt in (besides wiring :) )
