Unfortunatly no picture unless someone want me to txt it to them... but try to imagine :-)

Fuel tank - fuel pump - fuel filter - unknown device with electrical connector - to flex fuel line - to hard fuel line - motor...

The unknown device is square boxyish and fuel comes in from the top with 90 degree down and comes out the top and and 90s back off to the front of the truck.

There is an elecrical connection going to this unit...

Trying to decide if i need this or not.. since im swapping in a 302...

frame rail fuel pump? what year truck is it?...... just kidding i just read the title.

That would be interesting if it is. ill snap a picture shortly and see if i can post a picture using my phone..

Lol.. yea... year in title :-p

Well... i have pictures... but cannot post them using my phone. I can always email them to anyone interested.

Though u could be right. I looked further and there are no electrical lines to my tank. There is a hose.coming out going back to near the spare tire to a big cylidar thing laying sideways. And before that.. the hose actually splits. One going to that... and the other split going to front of truck....

the biggest problem im having is my haynes manual doesnt show me any of this... btw... this might make a difference... it is a flex fuel truck... e85 or normal gas.

Update... ok.. so there is an in tank pump... i was looking in the wrong area. This does go to that fuel filter and unknown device.

Now another thing stumping me is at the rear of the tank is a flex fuel hose like i said above.. split n such... something to do with return fuel system?

most expensive sensor ive ever seen, hope you do not need it

ugg... just looked at the price... glad i dont need it.

nope, wanted to know what it was, since i'm doing a v8 swap on the ranger.

jealous, id love to do a 302 swap w my ranger. I dont know nearly enough or have the tools to do so.

depending on the year truck you have and the year motor and such you get and what your plans are with it... a lot more of it has to do with the $$$$ then it is having special equipment..
