Two questions! I do not want to give up my 93 Ranger, but where do I find a compatible motor?

If someone offers me money for the Ranger, how much do you think I should ask for with no motor?

Parts truck. Find a wreck with rear end or side damage (but the front mostly intact), to make sure that the engine (and make sure it's the same engine as yours) isn't damaged (from the collision). If you find a truck with the same transmission from the same year, you *should* only need the engine. You can take an engine from a different year, but you will also need the computer and wiring harness. Lots of the guys here have done engine swaps, so they'll be able to help you out.

Of course, the other option is to just buy another Ranger.
