So let's start off with ABS light... Last year a spring broke in my drum brake and was making a lot of noise when you drove it. My dad replaced the drum brakes and everything inside the drum. After he was done I noticed the ABS light was on and has not went off since. Any idea what would cause this issue for the light to stay on?

Brake light, a few months ago the brake light came on and has not went off. Usually when we park we will push the E Brake down because sometimes my shifter does not go into park all the way and heard was a screw that was loose so I use the E Brake to keep it from rolling. I always release it and make sure it's up all the way. My brake fluid is fine so i'm not sure if this has anything to do with the ABS light being on for some time now.

Engine codes: right now my truck keeps throwing codes saying bank 1 is to lean and bank 2 is to lean. Not sure what the codes # off the top of my head but can keep them off the truck later today. I took it to autozone and they scanned my computer and told me that it was the 02 sensors that are causing it.

I also noticed that my truck jerks a little bit like its misfiring but doesn't throw off any codes. Sometimes when I tap on the gas my truck will also stall out. The plugs/wires were recently replaced is 2012 so im not sure if its that or something else.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! <3

The ABS sensor for the rear end is in the differential housing at the top. Nothing ABS related is at the rear drums themselves. Servicing just the brakes would not mess with the ABS in the rear end. The issue is either the rear or front sensors.

The brake light always being on is most likely the parking brake switch if the brakes function properly. The switches get stuck and either trip the brake light permanently or get stuck and not complete the circuit and the brake light wont come on at all.

As for bank 1 and 2 running lean its a vacuum leak. Very common issue with intake gaskets and fuel rail gasket on the 4.0L engines. they break down and start letting more air in than needed. Not a hard job if you have basic wrenching skills. Takes about 4 hours total to replace all gaskets from lower intake up. Im doing one of my trucks Saturday for that same reason.

Next time try posting in the related forum to the topic. You will get many more and much faster responses.

I have had the "parking brake light" because of a bad parting brake switch and if the master cylinder is low on fluid.

My ABS light came on because the connector to the ABS Module on the frame rail was covered in dirt and used motor oil because the filter is right above it in a 2.3L.

Sorry first post but will do for sure on future post!

I have located where the ABS Sensor is on the differential housing but what would trigger it to go off besides possibly being dirty? I know it's only rear ABS because I have replaced the front rotor's and didn't have any ABS sensor's. Would just replacing it fix the problem or maybe cleaning it off?

Would Bank 1 & 2 be causing the truck to feel like it misfires a little and not cause it to throw a code and the sometime's stalling issue?

Thank you guys for replies!
