Hello everybody! The name is Chris. I've searched the interwebs endlessly for any and all info on my very first ranger swap....or very first ranger at that! It is current an N/A 2WD 2.3L 5 Speed, i have an old 86 SVO motor in my barn just begging me to rebuild and throw into something. I figured id put it into a Foxbody mustang but..........i figured i wanna be a little different. So i hopefully will be making this swap soon or at least starting it. but, I digress, this site is problem the #1 link i keep running into and after a few minutes of looking through forums I see this is where the cool kids are!

Thanks for letting me join. Hopefully I can figure things out with the help of all these ranger experts!!!

Howdy and welcome to TRS!

The turbo swap is around but details on doing it with stock parts do seem to be scattered. Everything should be in the "other" conversions or forced induction sections. Good luck and take LOTS of pics. That way you can make the reference that your looking for.
