my buddy has an 07 seabring needs an after market hu, wants some suggestions he has some picked out but needs opinions i gave him my suggesitions but we want a second opinion on some stuff so tell me whatcha think

1) Pioneer Premier DEH-P610BT
2)Jensen VM8113
3)Pioneer DEH-P6200BT
4) any Alpine??

Any other suggestions? things i'm looking for:
1)front 3.5mm headphone aux jack
2)sleek simple design
3)good sound quality
4)bluetooth would be nice but definitely not necessary
5)detachable faceplate, again, nice but not necessary

Jensen is absolute crap. So scratch that

I'd recommend to alpine cde-105 it's an awesome unit that's super simple to use. And have a 5 band eq. Built in.

If I could make one suggestion to add to your list, it would be USB. Ask anyone that uses it. It's absolutely awesome. Also, I'm quite partial to Pioneer decks...I wouldn't ever suggest a Sony, JVC, or Jensen car audio product to anyone.

yeah i told him he needs a usb port butt he dont listen to me, and i recomended pioneer to him or alpine. ill let him take a look at the alpine, blackwidow,

Should this be CDA-105? I get nothing for CDE-105.

Pioneer radios look like crap these days. The faceplate also feels "cheap". With the head units on the market these days, I happily went Kenwood.

I went cheap... every vehicle I've had has been broken into. That, and not many other radios these days can put out 22 watts rms, or come close to the features for the money I bought it at ($130). http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113HD545U/Kenwood-KDC-HD545U.html?tp=5684

you can't go wrong with Alpine i have had the same Alpine head unit for almost ten years now in 3 different trucks and it still works great. it was one of the first ones to have XM hook up in it had all the sub controls and pretty much anything else you need.

I like this guy! Sony, JVC and Jensen are for mexicans in their Civics. Or as one of the techs at Curcuit City Road Shop (before they went under) said those brands are for the cheaps of cheap and people wanting to sell thier car and as a selling point say "its got a custom stereo."

LMAO, nice!

Back when I bought Sony, JVC, and Jensen car audio products, I had to replace things because they were worn out. When I replace a Pioneer deck it's because I'm upgrading. I have a couple of old Pioneers in my shed that work perfect, but I've moved on to new technology.
