Having an alignment issue

@bobbywalter did it have a steering box issue after we bought it back from the person in Indiana? Seems like the tow dolly messed it up.

Sounds like you got it straightened out.

As others have correctly stated, toe misalignment has large effects on a TTB suspension (based on your description it was toed-out).
If the tires are trying to drive toward each other, it "pinches" the suspension, causing it to raise up like a scissors lift... The opposite happens if the tires drive away from each other, it sucks the suspension down. Toe can have similar effects on SLA suspensions as well, but to a much lesser degree.

As for the leaky seal, it was probably just it's time to go. I've seen many that just start leaking randomly (shit happens). Fortunately they aren't hard to change, just messy (if you don't have a seal puller, use the system's pressure to blow the seal out the bottom).

Changing the fluid once in awhile seems to help the seals last a bit better (once every 5 years or so should be sufficient for PS fluid). Which reminds me... I think it's been 6 or 7 years since I did mine lol.

Yeah....blew the sector shaft. I put a low mile box in it
