have two rangers locked in lo 4 wheel drive

I have a 86 an a 89 both are locked in low 4 an i cant get them out. One is a auto trans the other manul. Both have elec shift neither have blown fuses. I am stumped an need advice

Well i tryed to go to the post you put up and it says page not found?

take off the transfer case shift motor and manually turn it into 4hi with some needlenose pliers or something.
