My cousin has a 86 supercab 4X4 Ranger 2.9 v-6,electric shift t-case w/ the A4ld. He HAS reverse but NO forward gears. Any idea's on just what this could be?
Fluid level is ok a little dark but nothing out of the ordinary. no fluid leaks either.I was thinking it could be a possibility of 3 things. 1. Torque converter going bad. 2. shift solinoid in valve body is bad along w/ a vaccum leak. or the transmission filter is plugged up. Any help/advice would be really appreciated!!
