had a shop replace my slave/clutch.

I really don't think it matters where you get the seal from, these things leak no matter what, I just would like it at least slowed down so its not going through a quart of oil every 2-3 days. I did get an alternator belt that says Made in USA from Autozone the other day, kind of surprised me.

well your in good shqpe anyway as yours was just out...so its only a few easy hours to fix that. unless they overtorqued or fawked up a bunch of fasteners.

A lot of parts from Autozone and lucky charms (oreillys) are crap but usually they both have felpro gaskets which IMO are usually good

Kind of what I'm thinking, just the time involved in pulling the transmission and everything out and the clutch, just not exactly to sure about it as I've never pulled a transmission or clutch before so I'm going to have the kid who did the work on it help me since he's kind of like family to me and he enjoys being at my house more than his own but considering how he's treated at home I don't blame him.

Yep, it took me 3 starter solenoids from Autozone before getting one that works. I don't trust them one bit on anything I always get part numbers before I go to the store so I can tell them exactly what I need, then I double check it before leaving. I've caught them several times trying to sell me the wrong parts. I learned my lesson after an incident with my jeep several years ago when they gave me the wrong ignition rotor, it fit but wasn't the right one and disintegrated after about 40 miles of driving which of course shut down the engine resulting in me having to be towed back to town, I should have known something was weird when they sold me 8 spark plugs instead of 6. They gave me all the tune-up stuff for the V8 instead of the Straight 6, after I told the idiot 5 times it was a straight 6. Oh well, they ended up having to replace the ignition rotor, rotor cap, and got my money back for the 2 extra spark plugs, that is after I had them come out to my jeep and tell me where those 2 extra plugs were supposed to go :icon_confused:.

Anyhow my summer project will be the rear main seal, and looks like I've got a leak up front at that seal as well which I have absolutely no clue about and looks like a huge deal to change that one.
