Tell him they're wells...

don't sugar coat it. day one tell them to dig their own grave out back so that when, not if, but when they fail you all they have to do is climb in and get comfy.

good plan....might even make the little buggers pay attention better:shok:

hey,look!more sheet metal!

chopped out the turn signal area and welded in the new panel.

cutting the tubes for the lights to live in.it's just 3 1/2'' exhaust pipe(i think there'll be more exhaust pipe in the body of this thing than the exhaust)

and this is what i want it to look like....i sunk the lights in just far enough that they can still be seen from the side.gotta keep the lawmen at least a little bit happy.

now i guess i better get onto the other side.:icon_welder:

I love those recessed lights, man.

The more I think about it, the less I think you should paint it. You shouldn't even finish welding it. It looks good enough as it is. Give it that nice industrial look. :icon_rofl:

Just kidding. I wanna look like this when you're finished.

ya,i think the round lights suit it better.i'm just finishing off the one on the left side.

i'm thinking some round fog lights in the lower valance could be a good idea too.i was originally going to be making that from fiberglass, but now i'm going to make it from steel-everything else on the body is steel.

I think it would look nice, you should look for a set like the ones on the Flex/Edge/Fusion. I got a set from work and am planning on sinking them into my bumper. They have a cool look and great light output.

Could have done it in stainless like the delorian

those look good, but i'll probably go with something aftermarket and a little bigger....more retro looking.

like i haven't bitten off enough as it is:icon_rofl:

you ever work with stainless?it aint fun to form compound curves in-sure does look good though.

Plus we could get to see Gwaii's take on a home brew flux capacitor.

then i could go back in time and get this car before it's so rusty, then it wouldn't be as much work.

Yeah stainless sucks and isnt as mainenance free as most people think either, but you could give a mirror finish and just blow peoples minds.

that's something i've always wanted to do....though it would probably be more practical to do it with aluminum.not quite as bright a shine, but still pretty good.

maintenance would be a nightmare,though.

if it were strictly a show car aluminum would be the way to go. show cars are stupid though, this thing is begging to be driven!
