another common problem with these cars is getting the bottom back edge of the hood to line up.i've come up with a solution to this.

i needed to make a new panel for the rocker area below the hood...as you can see the original one was just a wide flat area for the hood to sit on,nothing to locate it.on the new part i formed a little step for the hood to sit in....this should bring it into line when shut.

here's how it sits against the hood's bottom edge....i think it should work.

i can't think of anything on this car i'd trust an apprentice to do....there's just no room for error........
