How did you hold the parts together while you welded them. The alignment of the finished part is really quite impressive, considering aluminiums expansion rate when heated.
Very nice.
Even worse if it's for a client and you have to try to justify the cost somehow.
this is one of the things that will keep me from ever being rich.
i seem to have to put a million dollars worth of labour into a thousand dollar job.
If that's the case I'd love to see how complicated you can make an oil change.
It's a lot of pissing around for a subtle touch on the car, but a bunch of those subtle touches add up to a product that looks like it was put together with care, rather than just slapped together.
The best part of all the care put into something like this is that even though not everyone will notice it, you'll always know it's there. Those that do notice it will be appreciative.![]()
