Much appreciated, unfortunately my new truck enthusiasm was short lived. Not 2 days after I get it home I decided to do a tire rotation and found this. par for the course lol

That just goes to show what this Ranger life is really about. That's nothin'. Find the problem, fix it, and get to Ranger'in.

Absolutely, I'm just thankful she came apart with no issues at all. Cant wait to get it back on the road!

Well, that isn't something you see every day...

No its not, i do plan on contacting the dealership tomorrow. Seeing how brakes are part of the safety inspection in this state, dealers ARE under legal obligation to fix this issue. HOWEVER, i know if i do it it'll get done right and with high quality parts. so i'm going to toss them my receipts for parts used in hopes they at least meet me in the middle. if not, oh well, its just brakes, life goes on.

I'm not sure how you could miss this on any safety inspection.

I'd be bending the salesman's ear hard... and tell him you're thinking about getting the state involved.

No dealer wants anything to do with that... they will bend over backwards to make this go away. If you want quick action.... post it to their facebook page.

You will probably get all new Motorcraft parts... but telling them you want Motorcraft parts wouldn't hurt.
