Took out my ripped up sagging headliner and replaced it with this grateful Dead tapestry

I hope you're ready for the anal cavity search by the state police...

We had it done in about an hour or so. The hardest part is getting the trim, visors, and oh shit handle out and back in.
did you pull the headliner plum out?

I like that! It beats the hell out of an old torn headliner, it's certainly different, and you did a really good job on it. Hmmm . . . makes me wonder if anybody makes a black light bulb that'll plug into the dome light socket.

You can get black lights in just about any shape and size anymore. I would just get a black light flashlight and mount it in the back or something. One in the dome light will not shine upward, they are meant to shine downward so it probably wouldn't work. I got a UV flashlight from Harbor Freight for $5.99 2 days ago. Looks good. Too bad the skull is right where the dome light is.

While I'm not a fan of the music choice that is some really nice work.

Yeah, you gotta pull the whole thing out to reupholster it. The right way at least.
Thank you J-giles, one more question before I leave it go, did you find it neccessary to pull one of the seats?

I have an extended cab so I just reclined the seats all the way back. Might have to pull out the seats if you have a standard

Thanks a lot man. We had a recent discussion about replacements, recover, etc, and those were some of my top concerns, I think they were never really answered in the discussion I was in.
This has convinced me to do my own recover in the 93 (unless I find a suitable replacement candidate at the yards 50% off sale next week) and with the information you've provided I'm certain either one won't be any problem.
Thanks again for answering my questions, and once again, that's a great looking job yall did there
