Got me a ranger What you think?

What would i find that engine in?
Also would it be good for short track racing?
As this truck is just for arena racing, jumping and haulin azz is a must...lol
Was thinking of the 5.0 but can i get more power from the 2.3?
Think fuel injection is a must for jumping, as carbs can get banged around, flowts and stuff..
Race runs last for no more than 30 sec. never out of second, sometimes first gear.. Will be an automatic trany also. It has stick now.

svo's and turbo coupe's...

my little svo with a 90% stock longblock, a few minor mods like a big intercooler and a little bigger turbo and alot of boost made 320hp and 380TRQ and spooled pretty quick

I will def. look into the 2.3
320hp wow 5.0 is hard to get 300hp right?
Now im gonna have to learn how to dial in the 5 vaulve kings in front, aswell as the bump stop psi. ill take all those questions to the sup. forum

i agree with the others; 2.3T is the best as far as power to weight ratio goes, especially for a short track racer. i'm jealous of what you have, as it is. you can go no where but up from there.
