I didnt say a 6 spd wouldn't just said you could do it. An N/A 2.3 isn't exactly pointless, but you don't have to have a turbo motor nor a computer to make it turbo. Mine is N/A, and am mostly happy with it. The nearest drag strip is about 2 hrs away so have never taken it. Mine has ended up with a stock 94 ranger header, 2.5 inch pinch turn exhaust, a regular muffler, koni adjustable shoicks struts, rear solid mount upper shock mounts, an 8.8 with 4.10's and a l/s, sn-95 spindles on the front, with sn-95 rotors and 99 dual piston aluminum calipers, srock rear sn-95 brakes with north race car brackets, and yukon axles, sn-95 master cyl, converted to a adjustable prop valve, quick turn steering rack with offset aluminum rack bushings, caster/ camber plates, flamiong river steering shaft, ported upper and lower intakes, cam was degreed to factory specs with an adjustable cam gear, also switched coils from a 4.6 mustang with msd coild and an msd distributoless ignition system. Next in line is my through the floor subframe connectors, torquer box plates, and a aftermarket k member. Mine also has a 93 T-5 spd in it with alum flywheel and a 5.0 clutch from zoom...... like I said i'm happy with it for what it is, I will out run any 5.0 i've come across so far in any turns, but the straights get me, also I still have stock rear arms with new bushings saving up for a 3 arm kit with a watts link, i think they are called watts links anyways.
