90 Ranger Ext. Cab. 4.0 V6. 4X4. Auto. Slight lifter tick.
Mine is
90 Ranger Std Cab. 2.9 V6. 4x4. 5 Speed. Wont Start.

I get the whole truck for 300$ With motor, trans, transfer case, axles, wiring, plus whatever parts I may use. Interior is decent. Bed is pretty solid.

I know there is a Tut. on a 4.0 Ranger swap but cant find it. Can someone send me the right way?

Correct me if I am wrong. But from what I am reading I can actually use my 2.9 Trans and T-Case? Cause I really dont want to switch to an automatic. And to be 100% Honest with you I dont know how to do that eaither. Since the shifter is on the coloum and mine is on the floor.

And I <3 5 Speeds, but I think an automatic might be better in the mud?

Yes, you can use your 2.9 trans and t-case.

If it is an FM14shit then it may not last very long, depending on it's current state, and I would reccomend getting an M5OD.

You can use the 2.9's clutch on the 4.0, but that'll last about a block or two. :icon_twisted: I would get a 4.0 clucth, flywheel and starter.

(The 4.0 auto starter will work with the 2.9's flywheel, but it will not work with a 4.0's flywheel, you need a manual 4.0 starter)

The 4.0 truck will probably have a BW1354, and I would swap that in as well, if your 2.9 truck has a 1350

The donor has an Auto with reciepts stating less then 2,500 miles. But how hard is an Standard to auto swap.

Drive shaft lengths. Since it was an Ext cab. Stuff like that.

Sorry I am asking so many questions.
