Well sold the ranger today. Now I can get  :D Need to get somthing with a little more power then the 2.3. Anyone selling somthing in the CT area?

Define "CT area" with a radius of how far you are willing to travel.

Just in the state of CT. I do not like driving too far. There is a lot of junk out there:sad:

I know we have one or two nice ones, late model. I think we even have a FX4 LII. It has the factory flares and everything.

I like the stripomatic ones. Even my new chevy is stripped. I am looking for a 2wd bare bones one.

with the right gearing & tire size you would be surprised at what the 2.3 can do. Hauling, towing, pushing or pulling. I have pulled more then 50 Laurel hedge stumps that were in the ground for more then 50 yrs. Pulled a 1960 F100 truck on a car dolly, Pushed a Semi-truck tow truck after it rear ended a transit bus on the freeway,Hauled over 4,640 of structual steel, & I even towed the 28ft travel trailer me & my wife bought last year.

Of course Explorer leaf springs,8.8 4.10LS, Airlift 3000 lb airbags,6,000 lb.drawtite receiver & Lt tires all tend to help out

It had 3.42 gears with 235 tires. It did not like hills with 1200lbs in the back not sure why:dunno:
