i've always heard texans were friendly. Never been there though.

My sister works in seguin and I live about 40 miles from there. The resnicks in that town are a bit like the ones in Rio Linda, CA. If you have nice clothes, don't bring them... you will be out of place. Kinda of a sleepy little place close by bigger cities with lower housing prices, etc. Not a bad place really, (but a little trashy) and right beside I-10, and 10 miles from I-35. (Don't use I-35, its like I-95 but faster!
We're gonna be neighbors.

You shouldn't have any problems finding a rust-free truck down here!

well for the most part, people are friendly especially in the small towns as long as you look like a normal country person haha.

If you want to meet some weirdo's all you have to do is come to austin though.

When you come to Texas - drive something air conditioned. It's been close to 100 every day lately. Will you have tow capability or how do you plan to get your Gen I truck home? I've seen a lot of them around Tyler (East Texas) which is not that far off of any route you might be taking from Maine.

i am going to get a pull bar for my car...and if i have to i will just hall my car home with a gen one!!! all good ot me!...lol....but sweet i aint to richy any way....so i guess i will do just fine!

That's what I was going to say, pull the car home with the BII...

I agree with camodown, Austin is the mecca for weido and other nar-do-wells.

I would really look into getting the A/C fixed on the car- we're used to the heat and can barely do without A/C, not being used to it will hurt even worse. Fill the cooler with gatorade if you're driving down with no A/C and/or run at night.

you have my condolences about coming to texas :D

I'm leaving after the longest two weeks of my life :butt_kkick:
