We in this country are really going to have to modify our diving habits and what we dirve, the problem is only to get worse. Do we really need having a truck or could we just buy a trailer if we needed to haul something? Do we need a big lifted truck just to go out and play? Don't blame the countries in the Middle East, we get biggest percentage of oil supply right here from North/South America. Might as well blame China, millions of them now have become affunent enough to buy cars and really driving up the usage of "our" gas.

There is going to be a lot LESS "cruisin" around town in the BIG TRUCKS the way the price of gas is going now. And "cruisin" ain't going to be the only thing either. There is going to be a LOT MORE CRIMES committed due to people stealing gas anyway they decide to do it & probably a lot MORE ammo bought to protect what gas you have bought. As far as I am concerned, me, Mr. Winchester, Mr. Smith & Wesson & Mr. Klock will protect what little LIGUID GOLD I have any way I have to do it.

My thoughts exactly, I wont give up coffee as a friend of mine works for Van Houtte Coffee . Also buddy, its a buck 10 just south of you. I'm not going to give up driving, I'm just going to give up my 6.5mil/gal gas hog of a Dakota

i work at the local grocery store an iam already seeing prices being raised on certain things.. i mean ya it deff sucks.. most of your paycheck goes into fuel every week.. as some people have stated try an adapt.. i used to run the rds an would do 100-200 miles a week. now ive cut way down an only travel out if i need to an ive gone 65 miles this week. ive picked up a lil 4 banger 2wd ranger for summer so the big 4x4 will be sitting quite a bit.
hope fully soon their will be a dramatic break through on an alternative fuel that will let the price of petroleum products go down while boosting alternative energy. an keeping every one happy. if thats even possible.

Cars, wheelin, and the outdoors are what I live for. I'll be damned if i'm going to stop driving. Like you said, i'll just have to cut back on other "luxuries".

Sorry to say it, but I truly doubt the price will ever go DOWN. Once the price hits a certain point and stays there for awhile it won't go down, give or take 25 cents. The only thing that we could really do is stop the rate of increase with bio fuels, but I don't want to be paying a kit and kaboodle for food either. It is a shitty deadlock: Most of us need fuel to make money to eat, so bio fuels would likely just put us all the hole even further for what little good it does. It sucks.
