Getting a little out of hand!

Dammit!!! I'll never make any money now!!! 50 mile commute!! Why don't we just evacuate all the women/children from Iraq and then bomb the hell out of everyone/everything left, then build a #ucking pipeline directly to the ocean and convert some Army tankers and haul that $hit over HERE!!! This $hit pisses me off! All Americans are screaming for the government to do something, and they are all just picking their @ss and giving us measly tax rebates that will be enough to buy about 2.5 gallons of unleaded by the time we get it!!! Big deal!!! Stupid environmentalists are the only ones supporting these high prices, that is why the EPA is causing this crap! Screw them! The government isn't helping either, half of the price of fuel is dang taxes! Why don't they temporarily lift the fuel taxes just to help the average American/Canadian? That would help me more than anything! I could go and buy 1,000 gallons if it was cheaper for awhile and save a crapload! Saints preserve us!!

Solutions- my best idea is to car pool. I am going to start doing that this summer.

Oil companies and politicians: to quote someone on trs, Eat $hit and die!!! :buttkick::buttkick::buttkick::temper::temper:

the congress has more important issues to deal with, like baseball steroid use.

The problem is not supply and demand.. They just want you to think that, and frankly it works.

Back a year or so ago the price of a barrel of oil was like $65 bucks. The price of gas was over $3.00 a gallon. Lately, the price of a barrel has been up around $95-$99 a barrel. Guess what.... Gas prices are still around $3.00 a gallon until now.

So you tell me... If they can make money charging us $3.00 a gallon when the barrels were costing them $95 a pop, think of how much they were making, and or overcharging us when it was only $65 a barrel.

Bush and Cheney both have ties to oil, they don't want the price to go down.

The oil companies are pulling record profits still... There is nothing we can do.

Damn it!

Gas was $3.19. It just jumped here to $3.45.

I don't know why we're not making fuel from corn. Where's the E85?

I think the U.S. is foolish for buying all this oil. Think of what it would do if we pushed the E85 and started making corn based fuel. It would definitely help the farmers and keep more of the money here in the U.S.

That's about the gist of it.

i hope you dont catch too much hell for saying that. i think its a good start but it will up the food prices. it works well in brazil but they dont have any problems growing shitloads of sugar beets....

an electric ranger uses fuel too, just not directly. You have to burn fuel to create electricty to charge the ranger.

True, but it doesn't hurt as much. Imagne, $.20 to fully charge an EV Ranger. Compared to $50 to fill up a Ranger. And of course theres the range issue. But if you can get around 100miles per charge, and my 2.3L gets around 400miles to the tank. 4x.20 = $.80, thats damn good, besides I only drive 14miles round trip to work and under 55mph.

And where is that E85 that the government talked so much about? I wish we had just E10 or E15.

You're selfish, look over what you just said. Some of you guys really gotta figure out that the world does NOT revolve around American's. You are a fine example of the typical American that the world learns to hate and it is really too bad because I've met so many nice ones but it just isn't enough to cover up scabs like you.

And Toyota's don't suck, if I had a choice I would've gotten a Tacoma over my Ranger. But I'm just a broke kid working McDonald's part time and I have to deal with paying higher gas prices than you and more for all my off roading parts. Suck it up princess, work a few extra hours to pay for that trip. That's the logical thing to do. But I guess Spock was right "Humans are illogical".

i feel good....gas was 2.91 a galllon when i filled up today :P how bout that fuckers.....oh, and that was on mcguire afb, guess what, STRAIGHT GASOLINE, no E85 Horse shit at that station.

what the goverment plans todo is just let the middle east use up all of there oil, we have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much friggin oil under american soil that we arent drilling becuase were gettin it from overseas, so when they run out and they want our oil we can tell them togo **** themselves......lol

but seriously, we need to actually drill for our own oil, offically now we have mroe oil under american soil then the middle easterns do, and that doesnt even include alaska

its all cuz of busch he just want more money in is pocket and he is going to try and get it a high as he can before he is out of office to get as much money in his pocket as he can

You may be smiling but your still getting screwed. I bet gas where you live was under $1.00 per gallon 7 or 8 years ago wasn't it? We've always had high fuel prices where I live, (local fuel company that has a monopoly in the area) and back in '99-'00 regular was like $1.30 or so. I used to fill up my Samurai for under $20 with premium, now it cost me the same to put fuel in my ATV. :pissedoff:
