Garbage in your bed

I had a homeless newspaper street corner dude ask to put a coffee cup in my bed once. I let him since he didn't really have another option.

I had someone else leave a 1/3 full energy drink can on my bumper once. It was in the parking garage at school. I decided to leave the can on the ground behind the truck. Yes, there was a garbage can 15' away. There might have been a couple other times I've seen stuff in my bed. It's pretty much a natural reaction for me to just chuck it out and run it over when I pull out.

I had a friend (who didn't know what I drove) get all excited when he saw the truck. He was all, "Oh sweet! If we're ever hanging out with drinks or whatever I can just throw it in your bed instead of walking all the way to the trash." Then I proceeded to chew him out and tell him what I was going to put in his mom if he tried it. Needless to say, the word spread to not throw crap in my bed.

But I hate it also. It happens to me sometimes. My least favorite is when they put beer bottles and cans in your bed. It's not that I don't like beer, I just don't want to give the impression to others that I drink and drive or am such a slob that I put empties in the bed of my pickup.

had people leave beer cans in my bed, and while swerving to miss an animal at night, i got pulled over. had to give a breathalizer test because some lazy bastard threw his empty cans in my truck....:annoyed:

good think i rarely drink!:D

I've definately had this happen a lot :pissedoff:, But one time I actually came out to my truck to find two unopened 30 racks of Bud Light in the back of my truck, so I guess it's not always bad :icon_cheers:

Must be a Florida thing, never found garbage in my bed from strangers...

I've found trash in my bed all the time. Well, whenever I've had a truck without a cap or tonneau cover anyways. My F-150 gets trash all the time, usually cigarettes or butts. And of course that happened right when I first started driving the truck and one of the first days I had it I open the tailgate and dad sees all these cigarettes and butts in there and chews me out for smoking.... even though I don't.

Lazy mofos, I see it all the time on jobsites too, that's where my trucks collect the most trash. A trash pile right next to the truck and noooo, it goes in my truck instead. WTF!

I used to keep my spit cup full for people who did that to my truck
This is exactly what I do. I'm still in highschool and i'm one of the guys that take alot of crap before I get really pissed off. I found out who kept doing it to my truck (throwing beer bottles, full trash bags and cutting them open, ect.) and it was just the one person. I filled up a few bottles of dip spit and he had a white truck. I had a couple friends help me during lunch period we dumped all the dip spit on his truck took his tailgate off and threw it in the ditch full of water, filled the bed up with 8 bags of 100% chicken, pig, and deer guts and put the rear end of his truck on blocks just above the ground (only 2wd) and not to mention window painted his mirrors completely so he couldnt see. Let me put it this way the doush got what he deserved. BTW he put garbage in my truck constantly for about 2 months straight before I decided to do this.

This kind of thing makes me boiling mad. One day after school I found an half full bottle of Pepsi in the bed of my truck. I shoulda threw it in the trashcan but chucked it at the ground in anger. I hate it when people are too lazy to throw their crap away and start putting it in your truck bed. :pissedoff:

It really says something about your character when you purposefully put YOUR garbage in the bed of someone elses truck when you are 100~ feet away from a garbage can. Ill admit that i don't have the nicest ranger you'll ever see, but i do keep her clean and well maintained. Ive gone into stores and come back out to find Mcdonalds cups half full, bottles, cans, you name it just thrown in the bed of my truck. I wouldn't really mind it if i stored trash in there, but if someone keeps their vehicle clean, what gives you the right to throw trash in there? Do people throw garbage in the window of your car when its rolled down? Now i have put bottles back there if i didn't have a garbage can readily available to me, but they were always removed ASAP. If its not your vehicle, or you didn't ask, don't put your garbage in other peoples cars.

Any other thoughts/opinions on this?

A clean truck is the sign of a sick mind.

Funny, I use my bed for a garbage can since I go to the dump so often and noone throws anything in it. Not even my friends. But I know where you all are coming from. I watch people throw mcD's bags out the windows and stuff and its wrong. It just doesnt even feel right, Ive stole things as a kid and it didnt fel as wrong as littering. Respect jsut aint what it used to be.

Yeah, I've never had anything deposited in my pickup.

If someone threw 30 Bud Lights in my bed I would hire private security and sleep with a pistol. Only people that wish you the worst would do that.

Very good point. If they left Sam Adams or Summit I would leave milk and cookies for the perp and hope they returned.

If something would fly out the bed of my truck with my luck a cop would be right there to ticket me. Actually 2 tickets one for not having a garbage bag in the cab either.
