Garbage in your bed

It really says something about your character when you purposefully put YOUR garbage in the bed of someone elses truck when you are 100~ feet away from a garbage can. Ill admit that i don't have the nicest ranger you'll ever see, but i do keep her clean and well maintained. Ive gone into stores and come back out to find Mcdonalds cups half full, bottles, cans, you name it just thrown in the bed of my truck. I wouldn't really mind it if i stored trash in there, but if someone keeps their vehicle clean, what gives you the right to throw trash in there? Do people throw garbage in the window of your car when its rolled down? Now i have put bottles back there if i didn't have a garbage can readily available to me, but they were always removed ASAP. If its not your vehicle, or you didn't ask, don't put your garbage in other peoples cars.

Any other thoughts/opinions on this?

I agree. I've had issues with this too and it pisses me off. One time I came out in the morning and someone had obviously tried to throw a cup in my bed over night and couldn't see that my cover was down because it was just sitting there on the bed cover.

yeah, f-ing jackasses, my buddy had a problem with that in high school. we parked in the school parking lot and people were always throwing shit in his bed

Dirt bags!!!! People are just lower than dog sh*t at times!!!! I see people once in awhile driving their trucks on the interstate or public roads and stuff is blowing out of their beds!!! They either don't care there is garbage in the bed or somebody else put it there!!!!

Yah this happened to me in high school, when i had my Isuzu pickup. People just threw trash in there, and I would clean it out. I complained to the assistant principle, but he didn't do anything. Then when my sister got the pickup they did the same to her. She left it there, and then later wined to my dad that she was driving a dumpster.

It's happened to me twice, and it infuriates me. It's like going up to a stranger, handing them a piece of garbage, and saying, "Here, you throw this out for me because I'm too lazy to find a trash can."

haha i hate this crap, now we did this in high school to the ass holes, those kids that just mess with people for no reason the kids with the giant mall crawlers and no respect for women. and we actually walked farther to their truck then to the garbage can so cant call us lazy.

I just gave up, after awhile I drag the bed mat out and bag up all the crap and wash the bed. At college I get McDonald's bags, beer bottles, cigarettes, and all sorts of cans thrown into the bed. I once had a half eaten cheeseburger and BBQ sauce thrown into my bed. When I finally noticed it the sauce and the burger had dried to the mat. I guess no one has any respect for others property anymore...pisses me off...

a buddy of mine had a brand new Chevy s10. he stopped on the way home and got a 5 gallon can of gas for the atv, then stopped at burger king on the way. while he was ordering everyone in burger king heard an explosion and looked as some dumb a@@ tossed a lit cigarette in the bed of his truck. needless to say he was shopping for a new ranger in an hour.

As a person that worked my Ass off to clean up the road I live on,(filled SIX yard bags per 2 miles) let's just say, don't let me catch you littering.

Are you and your mechanic the same person?

I have the same situation.

Just think that all the people that are putting garbage in your beds are just trying to save the enviroment by not littering.

But I hate it also. It happens to me sometimes. My least favorite is when they put beer bottles and cans in your bed. It's not that I don't like beer, I just don't want to give the impression to others that I drink and drive or am such a slob that I put empties in the bed of my pickup.
