fusiblelink bad or somethin else

how can u tell wether a fusible link is bad i have 93 ranger that i put a 302 efi engine in i gutted the ranger of all the stock wiring layed the 302 wiring in and all i have now is power to the coil, starter, injectors, and fuel tank work thats all. i had power to the lights and stuff under the dash but i went out the next day and it had no lights any help would be awesome thanks

to check a link use a DVOM (multimeter)
how did you connect everything soldier or blade connectors?

it just has the stock fusible links and a couple butt connectors my one relay when you goto check it for power on one wire the test light comes on very slowly and its realy dim

The ONLY fuseable link on your truck is the one built into the original alternator harness.

The OUTPUT lead that goes from the screw lug on the alt to the battery
terminal on the starter relay.

test light only shows something has power .. some test lights could take .1V to activated the light (not .1V but very little voltage)

a good investment for any gearhead in this era of electronics for diagnosis is a Multimeter.

and thoughs butt connectors (my opinion) take them out and solier together and shrink tube them.
