Hey guys, so my fuel guage inst working right in my truck and I was wondering how many gallons my tank holds? I dont have an owners manuel to look it up and searching has given me a wide varitey of answers. Any help appreciated. 2001 Ranger Edge 2wd.

2001 ranger
2.5l engine, regular cab, 16.5/gal
3.0l/4.0l engine, regular or extended cab, 19.5/gal

According to Edmunds.com,

all Reg Cab, all engines = 16.5 gal
all SCab, all engines = 19.5 gal

:icon_confused:

Per Ford work shop manual

Midship — Std. 62.5L (16.5 gal.)
Midship — LWB 75.7L (20.0 gal.)
Midship — S.C. 74L (19.5 gal.)

So a regular cab, long bed may have a 20 gallon tank.

On the door tag, in the lower left corner should be the letters "WB" with a number under it. What is the number?

My rc/lb has a 20gal
My rc/lb parts truck had a 20gal
My sc/sb parts truck had a 19.5gal

Haven't looked into what's under my rc/sb.
