fuel relays

i bought a ranger here recently and it continues to blow oout relays im on the 2nd one and i dont want to blow another. Any ideas whats causing this. Also could i hook a toogle to the fuel pump to bypass it?
 
How is the relay being damaged? Burning the coil, opening up the coil, contacts sticking?:)shady
