2.3L ('83-'97) Fuel pump won't pump fuel

50/50 test, used since 1890's on first gasoline engines, and still the best test to use today, lol
Spray fuel into the engine, gasoline, ether, carb cleaner, ect...................
Try to start engine
If its starts and dies, you have good spark and timing, but no fuel delivery
If it doesn't start/fire, then no spark or no compression is the issue
50/50, instant results, on where to go next

It definitely starts okay.
It actually starts now for a few seconds. I guess some fumes build up in the lines and gives it enough to start.
But no fuel pump action

No fumes, its fuel injection, so liquid all the way until it come out the injectors

If it fires/starts then it has spark, and fuel is making it to the engine, and fuel injectors are opening

A fuel pump can be weak, so "works" but doesn't pump any fuel to speak of, when pressure reaches 1psi thats it, can't create more flow
Say the pump impeller was never attached to motors shaft, so impeller spins at first but any back pressure and it stop turning, and you still hear the motor
